The East Bay Banjo Club put in a return appearance at the Kensington Senior Living community in Walnut Creek on Veterans Day, November 11. The audience enjoyed another afternoon playout of traditional songs, including one song dedicated to each branch of the armed forces, as the club always does for Veterans Day. These songs were “When The Caissons Go Rolling Along” for the Army, the “Air Force Song,” the “Marines’ Hymn,” “Anchors Aweigh” for the Navy and “Semper Paratus” for the Coast Guard.

Bud Pearce served as master of ceremonies. Song introductions were played by Karen Hefter, Betty David, Ardie Jarrett, Rich Combs and Don Granberg. Guy Black handled the bass duties. EBBC appreciates the invitation from the Kensington to play on Veterans Day once again, and we hope to play there again.
